Project Overview: Grand Retaining Wall Construction
Shamon’s Contractors is proud to have completed one of our most challenging and ambitious projects to date – a pair of massive retaining walls that took several years to bring to life.
This project, which spanned the tumultuous period of COVID-19 lockdowns, supply shortages, and other unforeseen challenges, stands as a testament to our team’s resilience and dedication. The structure is nothing short of magnificent, stretching almost 40 meters in length and towering nearly 6 meters to the top of the fence. The poles, driven 5.5 meters deep into the ground, ensure the wall’s incredible sturdiness and longevity.

What began as a minor maintenance job in Aro Valley quickly evolved into a much larger project as we uncovered more extensive issues during the initial work. The homeowner was understandably devastated by the unexpected revelations, especially given the tight timeline – they needed the house ready for market in just a few weeks.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Shamon’s Contractors stepped up to the challenge. We immediately went into overdrive, stripping out the affected areas and rebuilding everything from the ground up. Our goal was not only to meet the tight deadline but also to ensure that the new owners could move in without any concerns about the property.
